AP Showgirl off to new home |

The lovely Aparee x Danzig Schatzi filly, AP Showgirl (aka Evie) has left for her new home in Albany. She was a dream to load on to the float and didn't really look back! Apparently she had a safe journey and is settling in to her new home. We would like to wish her new owner, Kym Cawthray, all the very best with Evie and look forward to seeing them out in the dressage arena in a few years! |

Aph Sydney Australis, owned by Alice Swarts, will be arriving around 5.30am on Sunday morning...we will have to be up with the sparrows! Syd will be spending his first stud season in Western Australia at Alexander Park. He is by the 2007 Horse Magazine Sire of the Year Trak (imp). His Dam is a full sister to Grand Prix dressage Stallion APH Spegiel. She is by Kassiber out the very famous mare Sarmatia who is the dam of many a famous dressage horse. This gives Syd both superb jumping and dressage blood making him an excellent choice as an eventing Sire. APH Sydney Australis has 3 excellent paces with very laid back relaxed nature. He also has a very good jump making him a suitable sire for all 3 disciplines. Trak was brought to Australia from Poland by Australian Olympians George Sanna and Rodney Brown and John McMillan to compete. He suffered and injury soon after arrival and retired to stud. He has since sired many high quality showjumpers in Australia.

AP Phoenix continues his successful 2010 comeback to eventing with a strong placing of 4th in a field of 37. His final score was 53.4, which include time penalties on the XC phase for being too fast! As I sat by the water jump I could see Dee taking him for a hack up the hill on the course to try and slow him down. :-) Photos to come soon. |

AP Phoenix was 2nd at Brigadoon - Landmark Midvale CNC 15-16 May 2010 
He has not competed since last year, Dorothy Roe rode him brilliantly and they finished on 55.2. There were 19 horses in his class.

It was a beautiful day and the AWHA Gala Show on 9th May 2010. We took our young gelding AP Meistersohn for his first outing down to Orange Grove for the Halter classes. He was very well behaved and came home with the following ribbons; 2nd Australian Warnmlood Colt, Filly or Gelding 3 years 1st Trakehner Stallion, Colt, Gelding, Any Age Reserve Champion Trakehner AP Meistersohn is currently being back as is for sale, further details here >>>. |
